Ian Ligertwood is an experienced technology and operations professional with a comprehensive background spanning over two decades in the investment management and IT sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations & Technology at Nexus Investment Management since August 2021, Ian previously held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Technology and Data Analytics and Vice President of Operations at Sionna Investment Managers. Ian's earlier experience includes positions as Assistant Vice President of IT at MFS McLean Budden, IT Consultant while self-employed, IT Manager at McLean Budden, and Software Engineer at Sapient. Ian Ligertwood holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, obtained in 2000.
