Anita Sharma

Anita Sharma is a seasoned formulation scientist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Lead Formulation Scientist at Nexus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since March 2019, after evolving through roles as Senior Formulation Scientist. Prior to this, Anita held the position of Senior Formulation Scientist I at Akorn, Inc., where responsibilities included designing and developing formulations for various drug products while adhering to the FDA Quality by Design approach. Anita's experience also includes roles as Research Chemist and Postdoctoral Researcher at The Ohio State University, along with a tenure at Cadila Healthcare Limited as a Research Associate. Anita holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The Ohio State University, an M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research.
