Tom James

Tom James has a diverse work experience in the planning sector. Tom currently holds the position of Associate Director at Nexus Planning since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Policy Officer at West Northamptonshire Council from April 2021 to March 2022. Tom also held the role of Principal Policy Officer (Planning) at Daventry District Council from June 2015 to March 2022, and before that, they were a Senior Planning Policy Officer at the same organization from August 2013 to June 2015. Tom'searlier experience includes working as a Planning and Development Officer at Tamworth Borough Council from September 2011 to August 2013 and as a Development Plan Officer from May 2007 to September 2011.

Tom James completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Planning at The University of Sheffield from 2003 to 2006. Tom later pursued a Master of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Birmingham, which they completed from 2008 to 2011.
