Morgan Jackson is a seasoned political strategist and co-founder of Nexus Strategies, serving as Principal since 2007. With a rich background in political affairs, Morgan held the position of Special Assistant at the NC Department of Justice from February 2005 to February 2007. Prior roles include NC State Director for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004 and Deputy National Political Director for John Edwards' campaign from 2003 to 2004. Experience in government includes serving as Area Director in a US Senate office and Director of Party Affairs for the NC Democratic Party. Earlier in the career, Morgan worked as a Field Representative for U.S. Congressmen Mel Watt and Bill Hefner. Educational background includes a BA in Political Science and History from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, obtained in 1996.
