Scott Estep has held various positions in the past 18 years. In 2003, they were the Medical Records Manager at UMBC Health Services. In 2007, they became the Assistant Manager at Journey's. In 2008, they worked as a Software QA Analyst at ICF International, where they created and/or updated test documentation, helped create a system for capturing test results, and trained new members of the company. From 2012 to 2022, they worked at Nexus, where they were a Nexus BPO Technician and a Document Indexing Specialist. Scott also held the role of Tier II Engineer, handling escalated support and internal requests for a web-based Accounts Payable software suite. This position required a working knowledge of intermediate SQL querying and procedure modification, XML creation and editing, and familiarity with PHP, AWS, and multiple proprietary applications. Lastly, they were the Technical Product Owner at Nexus.
Scott Estep attended University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2002 to 2007 and obtained a BA in Cultural Anthropology. During their time there, they also took courses at Northern Arizona University in 2004, focusing on Public Planning.
