Avisekh Agarwal

Avisekh heads talent for Nexus Venture Partners where he works closely with founding teams and executive leadership across Nexus’ diverse portfolio, strategically advising on talent strategy and organisation building.

Prior to joining Nexus, Avi was heading the talent function at PayU (Naspers), a leading global fintech organisation. Before PayU, Avi was the Global Head of Talent at OYO where he partnered closely with the founder and the management team to hire talent across geographies and business lines. Prior to OYO, he was the Head Asia Pacific, leadership hiring for Genpact.

Avi started his career in executive search with a leading Asian boutique, Executive Access. He spent over a decade with the firm in market making and delivering roles covering consumer and technology.

Avi has earned his bachelor’s degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce and his MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
