As a Partner at Octant Partners since August 2019, Jamil collaborates with independent entrepreneurs and financial sponsors to originate and manage proprietary business opportunities. With extensive experience as the Managing Founder of IMA Venture Co since 2009, Jamil provides investment advisory services, leveraging relationships with private equity and venture capital firms. Previously, Jamil held the position of Senior Managing Director at Manhattan Venture Partners from July 2018 to March 2022, focusing on investment opportunities in emerging private technology companies. Jamil also founded and served as the Chief Investment Officer at Kulacom Broadband Investment Company until its sale in 2009 and was an Executive Vice President at Merrill Lynch International Bank from 1994 to 2002.
