Matthias Heilig is a Product and Process Development Engineer at NexWafe, specializing in Laser Process Development. Matthias is currently a PHD Candidate at the University of Konstanz, where Matthias is working on a novel solar cell manufacturing process. Matthias is also a Co-Teacher for the University Seminar 'Cradle to Cradle', teaching the principles of circular economy. Additionally, Matthias has experience as a Research Associate at the Institute of Nuclear Physics and as a Tutor for Computer Science. In the past, Matthias was a Bandleader & Guitarist, a Student Assistant at JGU, and worked in Human Resources & Administration at the Center for Intelligence of the German Armed Forces. Matthias holds a PhD in Physics with a specialization in Photovoltaics from the University of Konstanz and a Diplom, M. Sc. equivalent in Physics from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
