Tony Delahunty

Chairman, South East Commitee at NFFO

Tony Delahunty is the Chairman of the South East Committee at the National Federation of Fishermen's Organizations (NFFO). Tony has over 20 years of experience in the IT and Learning Technology industry.

Tony started their career as a software developer for APSS GmbH - Europay (Mastercard) in 1997. Tony then moved on to become a software modeller/developer for SITA in 1999. In 2002, they became the e-learning manager for the College of North West London, where they remained until 2015. Tony then took on the role of Head of IT & Learning Technology for Global Vocational Skills Ltd from 2015 to 2016.

In their current role as Chairman of the South East Committee at NFFO, Tony is responsible for representing the views of fishermen and women in the south east of England. Tony also works to promote sustainable fishing practices and to ensure that the fishing industry can continue to thrive in the face of challenges such as Brexit.

Tony Delahunty studied International Relations at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and then went on to study IT, specifically "Artificial Intelligence: Knowledge-Based Systems" at The University of Edinburgh. Tony has also undertaken CPD in Communities of Practice.
