Jim Martin

Jim Martin currently serves as Vice President at American Standard Coatings, a position held since September 2024. In addition, Jim has been the Secretary-Treasurer for the NFL Alumni Association since May 2015. Prior roles include Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Lucas Coatings and National Sales Manager at R.M. Lucas from June 2018 to September 2024. Jim's experience in the construction industry began as Southeast Area Manager at Gaco Western, focusing on selling roof coatings and waterproofing products in the Southeast United States. Jim has also worked as a Professional Sports Scout from January 2000 to June 2018 and founded the Y Triathlon Series, overseeing multiple triathlons and duathlons in the Southeastern United States. Earlier career highlights include serving as District Manager at Alcoa from 2002 to 2007, dealing with various stakeholders in the exterior building products sector. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga between 1984 and 1988.
