Jim Ammons

Jim Ammons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in crisis management and insider risk assessment across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director for the National Football League (NFL) since October 2023, Ammons previously held the position of Crisis Manager at TikTok and worked as a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where oversight of Insider Risk assessments was conducted. A notable tenure at Nike included multiple director roles focusing on insider threats and global investigations, significantly enhancing data protection and security practices. Prior to these roles, Ammons spent over two decades with the FBI, rising to the rank of Unit Chief in Crisis Management and Special Events Management, where strategic management of national security and response protocols was a primary focus. Ammons holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Arts in Military Strategic Studies from Marine Corps University.
