Roman Oben

Roman Oben is a seasoned professional in football development and operations, currently serving as Vice President of Football Development Strategy at the National Football League (NFL) since January 2015. In this role, Roman focuses on enhancing participation and engagement within the game at all levels, while collaborating with various stakeholders across the NFL and external organizations to drive growth strategies. Roman's extensive experience includes previous roles as Vice President in multiple capacities related to youth and high school football, and player health and safety, alongside a notable playing career spanning 12 years in the NFL as a starting offensive left tackle. Roman's academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Louisville, a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Leadership Development Certification from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
