Thomas Rau has extensive experience in both sports officiating and information technology. Since August 2005, Thomas has held various officiating roles in football and lacrosse at the NCAA level, while also serving as an Instant Replay Field Operator for the NFL since August 2017. Currently, Thomas works as an OnBase System Administrator for National Heritage Academies and has experience as an auxiliary official in both the UFL and USFL. Prior IT roles include IT Data Center Specialist in Genesee County, Michigan, where technical tasks involved server performance and maintenance, along with positions at Hewlett-Packard and Ford Motor Company. Thomas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Northwood University and an Associate Degree in Technology from Pierce College at Puyallup.
