Dr Walter Hesse

Dr. Walter Hesse is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital transformation and geographic information systems (GIS). As Group Managing Director of nfoldROI Group of Companies since November 1995, Dr. Hesse has successfully delivered over $300 million in business process and data improvements. An entrepreneurial spirit led to the founding of the Group of Companies in 1995, highlighted by significant milestones such as becoming the first Smallworld GIS World Class Partner in the Southern Hemisphere and executing landmark projects in New Zealand and the USA. Prior to this, roles included Senior GIS Consultant at MITS, GIS Customer Engineer at Intergraph, and Analyst/Programmer at Mettenmeier GmbH. Dr. Hesse holds a PhD in Surveying and Land Information from the University of Melbourne and a Master’s degree in Geodesy from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
