Chase Cannon

Chase Cannon is a seasoned professional in employee benefits compliance, currently serving as Vice President and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at NFP since September 2010. In this role, Chase provides expert advice on regulatory and legal issues related to employee benefits, focusing on topics such as health care reform, ERISA, and various health plans. Prior experience includes serving as an Attorney Advisor at the Internal Revenue Service, where Chase advised on health and welfare benefit plans and drafted taxpayer guidance, as well as a Law Clerk at the United States Tax Court, responsible for drafting court opinions on federal tax disputes. Chase holds an LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a JD from the University of San Diego School of Law, and a BS in Political Science from the University of Utah.
