Michelle F. Burnett

Michelle F. Burnett, CBCP, CEM, CFM, currently serves as Vice President of Program Management at NFP, an Aon company, since February 2025. Previously, Michelle held various leadership roles at Tidal Basin Group from July 2021 to February 2025, including Vice President of Resiliency, Mitigation and Policy, and Assistant Vice President of Preparedness, Resiliency & Emergency Management. Prior experience includes serving as Sr. Manager of Enterprise Resiliency at CVS Health and multiple positions at the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency, culminating in the role of Chief of Planning and Mitigation. Michelle also worked at the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management as Principal Marine Fisheries Biologist and at the Rhode Island Department of Health as Beach Program Safety Coordinator. Educational qualifications include a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the same institution.
