Peter Friend

Peter Friend is an experienced healthcare executive with a diverse background in insurance solutions, healthcare consulting, and hospital administration. Currently serving as Director at NFP Insurance Solutions since October 2015, Peter has previously held the position of Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group LLC, where expertise in operational and financial matters for healthcare organizations was demonstrated. This experience included significant contributions to physician/hospital integration, performance improvement, and population health management. Prior to this, Peter was Director at The Bensman Group, focusing on productivity and cost reduction through wellness programs, and served as Producer at JR Katz. Peter’s long tenure at NorthShore University HealthSystem included the roles of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing various healthcare facilities and services. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Northwestern University and a Master's of Science in Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Colorado Denver.
