Alison Pierce has over 30 years of work experience, starting in 1991. Alison began their career at Boots UK Ltd, where they held various roles in IT, including programmer and business analyst. At Boots, Alison worked on a variety of projects, ranging from main dispensing systems to technical projects. Alison also worked as a Business Analyst contractor, leading a team and providing input into program reviews.

In 2006, Alison joined Eon IT as a Principal Analyst, where they led and mentored a team of business analysts, engaged with senior stakeholders, and shaped strategic technology options. Alison then moved to The University of Nottingham in 2014 as a Business Architect, responsible for architecture engagement and the delivery of business architecture models.

Alison then worked at Coventry Building Society, starting in 2020, as a Senior Practice Manager and later as a Lead Business Analyst, responsible for BA and UAT. Currently, they are working at NFU Mutual as a Lead Business Architect.
