Paul Gladwin

Paul Gladwin is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as the Head of Personal Lines Underwriting at NFU Mutual since February 2018, where responsibilities include developing underwriting strategy, managing risk appetite, overseeing P&L, and spearheading product development, along with establishing a team to address counter fraud threats. Previously, Paul held the role of Underwriting Manager at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd for a short tenure in late 2017, focusing on implementing underwriting best practices and managing various projects. Prior to that, Paul worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from July 2002 to May 2017 as the Head of Technical Underwriting, overseeing underwriting control and standards for all lines of business in the UK, along with experience in niche personal lines underwriting that included pricing, product development, and staff development.
