Peter J Jones has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Peter J worked at Sun Alliance Insurance from 1988 to 1991 as a Professional Risks Underwriter, focusing on small to medium-sized professional businesses and brokers in the Midlands and surrounding counties. From 1991 to 2008, they were a Partner and Business Owner at Midland Risk Management LLP, where they managed broking operations, client service delivery, and strategic trading relationships with insurer partners. From 2008 to 2016, they served as the Managing Director at Arthur J. Gallagher International, overseeing national broking, Lloyd's & London Market broking, and MGA divisions. Currently, they are at NFU Mutual, where they started in 2017 as a Placement Manager in broking and products, and later became the Supply Chain & Placement Manager, responsible for broking, market management, products, binders, and performance. Peter J is currently the Head of Trading & Portfolio.

Before long, the business expanded beyond it's Midlands home, establishing branches across the United Kingdom. As farming diversified, so did we. Growing beyond agricultural insurance we used our life assurance, investments and pensions expertise to provide individuals and businesses with our renowned customer service. Today, our people continue to build relationships with their local communities, taking the time to understand their individual needs so that we can offer the insurance cover appropriate to them.
