Melanie Schmidt holds extensive experience in healthcare management and policy. Since 2012, Melanie has served in various roles at NFU - Nederlandse Federatie van Universitair Medische Centra, including Directeur, Manager/ plv. Directeur, and sr. beleidsadviseur patientenzorg en onderzoek, contributing to the collaboration of eight University Medical Centers in the Netherlands. Melanie has also worked with the Clients' Council of Academic Hospitals as secretary, focusing on patient advocacy. Prior to this, Melanie was a sr. beleidsadviseur at Stichting Aids Fonds, engaging in scientific research funding and public awareness campaigns regarding HIV.
