Stephanie Klein Nagelvoort Schuit serves as the Vice Chair of the Executive Board and Professor of Health Care Innovation at UMCG and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, respectively, since October 2020. In addition, Stephanie is a member of the National Growth Fund Advisory Committee for the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, and serves on the Advisory Board of the National Healthcare Institute. Stephanie chairs the Quality Consortium of Dutch University Medical Centers under the NFU and holds various committee roles in medical organizations. Prior experience includes serving as Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine and holding multiple leadership positions in internal medicine at Erasmus MC until September 2020. Stephanie holds a Medical Doctor degree with cum laude distinction from Erasmus University Rotterdam, along with a PhD in Genetics of the Estrogen Signaling Pathway and various other degrees from the same institution and an international school in Texas.

De Nederlandse Federatie van Universitaire Medische Centra is een samenwerkingsverband van de zeven universitair medische centra (umc's) in Nederland. De NFU heeft als algemene doelstelling het behartigen van de gezamenlijke belangen van de umc's.
