Sierra Lore is currently a PhD candidate in Biology of Aging at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, co-advised by Eric Verdin and Morten Scheibye-Knudsen. Previously, Sierra worked as an undergraduate researcher at Stanford University in the Steinmetz Lab, focusing on the implications of mitochondrial DNA in aging, and in the Khosla Lab, developing diagnostics for celiac disease. Sierra founded an e-commerce business, Allstickers.org, during high school, generating significant revenue while donating to celiac disease research. Sierra also gained experience as an intern at Segmed, Inc. and Juvenescence, where they contributed to medical technology and aging-related research. Sierra graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Stanford University in 2023.
