Paul Sweitzer

Paul Sweitzer has a diverse work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Paul is currently serving as the Director of Transportation and Logistics at NG Advantage LLC since November 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Transportation Operations Manager at the same company starting from December 2020.

Before joining NG Advantage LLC, Paul worked at CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. where they served as an Operations Manager from July 2014 to December 2020. In this role, they coordinated with CSX and contract vendors to ensure train schedules and terminal plans were harmonized. Paul also worked with Network Operations to adjust train plans and determine staffing levels. Prior to that, they were a Fleet Supervisor from July 2012 to July 2014 where they were responsible for recruiting, retention, utilization, DOT compliance, and safety for the Midwest Region's fleet of Independent Contractor truck drivers.

Paul also gained valuable experience at JB Hunt Transport Services, Inc. where they worked from August 2006 to November 2012. Paul held various positions in the company including Area Service Manager, Intermodal Ramp Manager, Fleet Manager, and Account Representative. In these roles, they managed routing and freight planning, oversaw local intermodal truck operations, assigned loads and monitored freight movement, and solicited freight from customers.

Paul Sweitzer pursued their education at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2018 to 2021, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. During their time at the university, they focused on Supply Chain Management and General Management. Prior to this, they attended the University of Northern Colorado from 2001 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design.
