Janelle Shaw is an experienced professional in the tourism and retail sectors, currently serving as the General Manager of Westland Tourism at Ngāi Tahu Tourism since January 2022. In this role, Janelle leads strategic and operational initiatives for various tourism assets, including managing lease negotiations and a substantial property portfolio. Additionally, Janelle holds positions as Co-Chair/Chairperson of Glacier Country Tourism Group, representing over 90 businesses, and as Owner/Operator of Fern Grove Gift and Design, a successful boutique retail store. Janelle also provides financial management services through Business Support & Financial Services, building on previous experience as a Payroll Officer for the West Coast Regional Council and Business Manager at Fern Grove Souvenirs Limited. Janelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Massey University.
