Michael Chiam

Michael Chiam has extensive experience in academia and industry, having held various positions at Ngee Ann Polytechnic since May 1989, including Senior Lecturer, Deputy Director, and Senior Manager. Prior to joining Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Michael Chiam worked as a Marketing Support Manager at Innosys Pte Ltd for a brief period in 1989 and served as a System Support Executive at the same company from 1985 to 1987. The career began in the aviation sector as an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Singapore Airlines from 1978 to 1982. Michael Chiam holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Marketing from The University of Western Australia (2006), a Master of Science in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods from Louisiana State University (1989), and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Oregon (1985).
