Aakash Rao

Aakash Rao, P.Eng., PMP, currently serves as Senior Manager, Project Development at NGen Canada since May 2023. Previously, Aakash held the title of Project Manager at IMW Industries Ltd. from November 2021 to May 2023, overseeing all project management aspects and customer communications. Prior experience includes roles at Cascade Aerospace Inc., where Aakash worked from July 2015 to November 2021 in various capacities including Program Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Design Engineer, contributing to complex integration programs and engineering deliverables. Aakash's early career includes research roles at the University of Victoria focusing on wind turbine CFD modeling and design optimizations. Aakash holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honors and a Business Minor from the University of Victoria.
