Pavol Opalenik is an experienced Infrastructure Manager at ngena since May 2017, responsible for defining infrastructure and connectivity needs for a global SD-WAN and SASE provider, developing future-proof strategies, and managing cost optimization programs. Previously, Pavol held roles including Technical Project Manager and HUB Rollout Engineer, overseeing global IT infrastructure projects and specializing in data center deployments. Prior to ngena, Pavol worked as an ICT Engineer and ICT Administrator at T-Systems Slovakia, contributing significantly to the ngena project during various contracted positions. Earlier career experience includes being a self-employed professional poker player and coach from 2008 to 2016. Pavol holds a degree from Masaryk University Brno.
