Amy Oen

Amy Oen is a seasoned professional in environmental science and geotechnical research, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since 2001. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental and Resources Consultant at Interconsult ASA and Consultant at Aquateam - Norsk vannteknologisk senter AS. Oen began a military career as a Lieutenant and Environmental Management and Compliance Officer with the United States Air Force from 1992 to 1995. Oen's academic credentials include a Master in Urbanism from The Oslo School of Architecture and Design, a PhD in Marine Chemistry from the University of Oslo, post-doctoral studies in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, an MSc in Environmental Engineering from South Dakota Mines, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
