Georg H. Erharter

Georg H. Erharter is a Senior Engineer at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since March 2022, focusing on consulting and research in engineering geology and geotechnics while managing international projects. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Technische Universität Graz, where research in rock mechanics and tunneling, as well as supervision of theses, was undertaken. Georg has experience as an Engineering Geologist at geo.zt gmbh, specializing in Building Information Modelling and geological 3D modelling for major infrastructure projects like the Semmering Base Tunnel.
