H. Kursat Engin

H. Kursat Engin is a highly experienced geotechnical engineer and project manager currently serving at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) since November 2012. With a comprehensive background that includes roles as a senior geotechnical engineer, project manager, and postdoctoral researcher, Engin has made significant contributions to the field of geotechnical engineering. Prior to joining NGI, Engin completed a PhD at Delft University of Technology focused on modeling pile installation effects and held research positions at both TU Delft and METU, gaining expertise in finite element modeling and soil mechanics. Engin holds an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering and a BSc in Civil Engineering, both from Middle East Technical University.
