Jean-Sebastien L'Heureux

Jean-Sebastien L'Heureux is a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer currently serving as Technical Lead for Soil Slides at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) since August 2012. Prior to this role, Jean-Sebastien held a professorship at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) from 2018 to December 2019 and completed a postdoctoral position at the Geological Survey of Norway from April 2009 to August 2012. Jean-Sebastien earned a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2009, an M.Sc. in Environmental Geology and Geohazards from the University of Oslo (UiO) in 2005, and a B.Sc. in Engineering Geology from Université Laval in 2002.
