Mats Fredrik Heigre

Mats Fredrik Heigre is a developer at NGI - Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since January 2023, focusing on backend and embedded development for NGI Live. Prior to this role, Mats served as CTO and Co-Founder at Dynaspace from July 2018 to December 2022, where efforts were directed towards enhancing aquaculture transparency through satellite imagery. Mats also gained experience as a Scientific Assistant at the University of Bergen in 2017, as a summer intern at the Norwegian Communications Authority, and as a Student Assistant at Narvik University College. In leadership, Mats managed the Narvik branch of Trolldeig from October 2013 to May 2014. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Physics, specializing in Microelectronics from the University of Bergen, and a Bachelor’s degree in Satellite Technology Engineering from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway.
