Nellie Sofie Body is a Project Engineer at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) since August 2021, specializing in natural hazards research and consulting within the Section for Remote Sensing and Geophysics. Previous experience includes a summer internship as a Geologist at Ramboll and multiple roles at NGI, including internships in avalanche and rock slide studies and summer intern positions focused on natural hazards. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Geohazards and Geomechanics from the University of Oslo, along with a semester abroad in Geological/Geophysical Engineering at Université Grenoble Alpes. Nellie has also engaged in mentoring and teaching roles, including as a Consultant at the University of Oslo and as a Summer School Leader at Forskerfabrikken Norge AS.
