Silje Grimstad has extensive experience in the field of geoscience, currently serving as the Head of Section Field Investigations at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) since September 2016, with previous roles as a Geologist and Laboratory Engineer focused on laboratory and model testing. Prior to NGI, Silje Grimstad worked as a Kursleder at Forskerfabrikken AS from June 2013 to February 2017, and held a position as a Scientific Assistant at the University of Oslo from September 2016 to January 2017. Silje Grimstad also gained experience as a summer intern at Statoil in 2015, contributing to the PETEC Oseberg Main project. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Geoscience with a specialization in petroleum geology and geophysics (2014-2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Geoscience, focused on geology and geophysics (2011-2014), both obtained from the University of Oslo.
