Gary Rosenberry has over 19 years of professional experience. In 2001, they began their career in the United States Army Reserve as a member of the 324th Military Police BN, where they were responsible for maneuver and mobility support operations, area security, site security and response, and resettlement operations for military prisoners of war and enemy combatants. In 2008, they became a Supervisor at Abraxas Youth & Family Services, where they had direct oversight of a 30-60 member County Employee team with union, and effectively communicated necessary information with outside referral agencies in verbal or in writing. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Best Buy as a Consultation Agent, providing quick solutions for technical issues, performing basic repairs on laptop and desktop computers, and being responsible for customization and new PC setup. From 2015 to 2016, they were an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) at the Defense Logistics Agency. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at SPARC, an Agile Systems Delivery Hub of Booz Allen Hamilton, as a Software Developer. There, they modernized existing Spring applications, implemented JPA repositories, automated database changes into an existing spring application using Liquibase, and served as a technical lead. Finally, from 2018 to the present, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Newmoyer Geospatial Solutions, delivering groundbreaking real time solutions with newer technologies for government and commercial clients. Gary has been a major developer and contributor to MEDCOP, a tool that provides combatant commands and medical leadership first-line medical unit readiness, and has developed a timeline and calendar solution with React/Redux that allowed for the creation of timed events that were draggable, resizable, and filterable through the UI as well as updated to users in real-time using websockets.
Gary Rosenberry attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2008, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections. Gary then returned to Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania from 2013 to 2015, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Gary also holds a certification from Code School for Shaping up with Angular.js.
