Ron Hagen

Ron Hagen is an accomplished professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Founder of PetroleumAdvice since September 2017, providing advisory and support services to the exploration and production industry. In addition, Ron holds the role of Advisor for Noordgastransport (NGT) and took on the position of Managing Director in September 2020, overseeing significant gas transportation operations in the Netherlands. Previously, Ron was the Business Development Manager at Neptune Energy and held executive roles at Oranje-Nassau Energie BV, where responsibilities included acquisitions and mergers. Ron’s career began at Shell as a Reservoir Engineer and includes further technical expertise from BEB Erdgas und Erdöl GmbH and Elf Petroland. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees in engineering, business administration, and executive training from esteemed institutions such as Delft University of Technology and INSEAD.
