Karim ADERGHAL, PhD

Karim Aderghal, PhD, has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of deep learning, machine learning, and image processing. Karim currently holds the position of R&D Deep Learning Engineer at NGTV Expérience. Prior to this, they served as an A.T.E.R (Temporary Teaching and Research Assistant) at ENSEIRB-MATMECA from March 2019 to August 2020. Before that, Karim worked as a Researcher and PhD Candidate in Machine Learning and Image Processing at the Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI) from May 2016 to August 2020. Additionally, they have experience as an A.T.E.R at the Université de Bordeaux from September 2018 to February 2019. In 2014, Karim worked as a Software Engineer at Extech Technology.

Karim Aderghal, PhD, obtained their first degree in computer science, a Master's degree in Système d'information, Réseaux et Multimédia from Université Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah-Fès in 2012-2014. Karim then pursued their doctoral studies in computer science at both Université de Bordeaux and Université Ibn Zohr from 2016 to 2020, earning a Doctorat degree.

In addition to their formal education, Karim Aderghal has also acquired several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Karim obtained certifications in Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native, and Machine Learning from Coursera, with completion dates ranging from September to January 2020-2021. Karim also gained proficiency in C++ and Python through LinkedIn certifications in May 2020.
