Sangki Hong

Sangki Hong has over 25 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry. Sangki began their career in 1985 as an Equipment Sale Engineer at Yeonil Inc. In 1994, they joined the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute as a Member of Technical Staff. In 1996, they moved to SK hynix as a Senior Manager at Hyundai Semiconductor, where they developed 64M, 128M and 256M DRAM Metallization Process and Technology Transfer from R&D to Manufacturing. In 1999, they joined GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Senior Principal Engineer in Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, leading 0.13µm Cu/FTEOS BEOL Integration Development and Technology Transfer and Qual. In 2001, they moved to Tezzaron Semiconductor as Director of Operations, where they managed Supply Chain Management with Foundries, 3D & 2.5D Process Development and Optimization, DiRAM, Large Area Focal Plan Array, Si CMOS/ InP BiFET/ GaN HEMT and 2.5D Si Interposers. In 2018, they joined NHanced Semiconductors, Inc. as Director of Operations.

Sangki Hong received their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Hongik University between 1980 and 1985. Sangki then went on to receive their Master of Science in Material Science and Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology between 1987 and 1989. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Material Science and Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology between 1989 and 1994.
