Nicola Rains

Nicola Rains has extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, currently serving as a public speaker since 2013 with Dr. Nicky Rains, where substantial expertise in clinical management and leadership has been developed. Nicky has participated in media interviews and has taken on roles such as program director for large Continuous Medical Education (CME) events and presenter at corporate wellness events. In addition, Nicky has worked as a general practitioner and group clinical manager of emergency departments at NHC LTD. since 2004, and previously served as clinical manager at both Netcare Olivedale and Life Flora Emergency departments. Nicola's early career includes a community service position at Coronation hospital and an internship at Helen Joseph hospital. Educational qualifications include an MBBCh degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and diplomas in Primary Emergency Care and Child Health from the Colleges of Medicine South Africa.
