Prior to that, Gary worked as a Design Engineer at Hutchinson Technology Inc. from February 2003 to July 2011 and had additional design engineering roles earlier in the same organization from 2003 to 2009. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the University of Minnesota, where studies were completed from 1998 to 2001, after attending the same institution from 1995 to 1998.
