Shennandoah Britten

Shennandoah Britten has extensive experience in translation, interpretation, and tutoring, currently serving as an IT Project Coordinator and Translator/Interpreter at NHK International Corporation since August 2018. Prior roles include Independent Japanese and ESL Tutor at WyzAnt Tutoring, Translator/Interpreter at Hino Motors Manufacturing USA, Inc., and Freelance Japanese-English Translator at Ulatus. Shennandoah also worked as a Contract Translator/Interpreter at Actus and Japanese Translator and Editor at Sovee. Academic contributions include tutoring at Sewanee: The University of the South, supplemented by experience in sales at Fukuya Co., Ltd. and Kabushiki-gaishya Iwataya-Mitsukoshi in Japan. Shennandoah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Asian Studies from The University of the South and further studied in Beijing and Japan.
