Courtney Deena serves as the Coordinator for the Industry Growth Fund & Community Development at the National Hockey League (NHL) since May 2022, where Courtney leads the NHL STREET initiative, expanding the program to over 100 communities across North America in one year. Additionally, Courtney holds the position of Coordinator for Social Impact Program Innovation at The Post since December 2024 and has experience as an Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Hofstra University, where Courtney designed and executed the "No Locker for Racism" campaign and co-created the Hofstra 4 All committee. Previous roles include Lead Community Coordinator at TerpService and Public Relations Chair for the Department of Arts and Humanities' Dean's Advisory Board. Courtney's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Communications from the University of Maryland, along with multiple master's degrees in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies, Human Resources and Organizational Development, and Sports Coaching from various institutions.
