Janne Vuorinen

Janne Vuorinen serves as the Sport Director for HC Ässät Pori Oy, starting in October 2022, and has extensive experience in the hockey industry. Since August 2005, Janne has been with the National Hockey League as the Chief European Scout for NHL Central Scouting, previously holding the title of European Scout from 2005 to 2007. Janne directed player personnel for Jokerit Hockey Club from October 2013 to September 2022, overseeing operations in both the KHL and Liiga. Prior experience includes serving as the Sport Director and Director of Player Personnel for Espoo Blues from November 2009 to October 2013, along with roles as Player Coordinator for HC Torino Bulls and Pelicans U20 team. Janne holds a Master of Sport Studies in Sport Management and a Bachelor of Sport and Leisure, specializing in coaching, both from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.
