Joseph Collins currently serves as Senior Counsel for the National Hockey League (NHL) since December 2019. Previously, Collins held the position of Counsel (Temporary) with the New York Red Bulls, where responsibilities included negotiating and drafting various agreements for the Major League Soccer seasons in 2018 and 2019. As Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs at NFL On Location Experiences from January 2017 to June 2018, Collins oversaw business and legal matters. Prior experience includes serving as Counsel for the New York Yankees, where Collins negotiated agreements for major sporting events and evaluated contracts impacting Club operations. Earlier roles at White & Case LLP and Shearman & Sterling LLP involved representing borrowers and lenders in various financing transactions and conducting legal due diligence on real estate acquisitions. Joseph Collins earned a J.D. from Rutgers Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from American University.
