Steve Marchand

Steve Marchand is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in motion graphics and design. Currently serving as the Director of Motion Graphics for the National Hockey League (NHL) since October 2016, Marchand previously held the position of Lead Animator at Bloomberg LP from June 2013 to June 2016. As the Founder and Director of Marchand Media from 2001 to 2015, Marchand successfully built a multimillion-dollar creative design agency and led a 15-person team to deliver projects for prestigious broadcast clients. Prior to this, Marchand founded and presided over 4-Front Design, managing all business and creative processes from 1988 to 2000, and served as Creative Director and Art Director at NBC, where notable contributions included designing motion graphics for NBC NIGHTLY NEWS with Tom Brokaw. Marchand holds a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial and Advertising Art from the School of Visual Arts and an Associate of Applied Science in Textile Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
