NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme
Rosie Scott is a Consultant Radiologist with extensive experience in multiple healthcare organizations, including University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, The Montefiore Hospital, and SPRING ORTHOPAEDICS LTD, all since January 2008, November 2012, and December 2012, respectively. As a Co-Founder of Definition Health since December 2018, Rosie Scott has contributed to redefining digital healthcare with the UK's first end-to-end digital platform aimed at improving patient care and reducing costs for healthcare organizations. Currently participating in Cohort 7 of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme since January 2023, Rosie Scott is engaged in developing innovative ideas into viable products and businesses to enhance NHS patient outcomes. Rosie Scott holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from King's College London, obtained between 1990 and 1995.
NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme
Established in 2016, the Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP) aims to support healthcare staff to develop the commercial skills, knowledge and experience needed to successfully develop and spread innovation, for the benefit for patients, the public, and the wider NHS. The programme offers a range of support including direct education, mentoring, networking, and access to exclusive opportunities, expertise and resources.
