Thanasi Tachtatzis

Thanasi (Athan) Tachtatzis is an experienced pharmacist and pharmaceutical affairs consultant with a diverse background in both community and hospital pharmacy settings. Currently serving as a Senior Pharmacist at NHS Fife since July 2020, Tachtatzis has also worked as an Independent Consultant in Pharmaceutical Affairs since February 2018. Prior roles include Branch Pharmacist at LloydsPharmacy, Senior Pharmacist at Well, and Senior Pharmacist/Dispensary Manager at Fife NHS Board. Earlier career experiences encompass ownership and management of a community pharmacy and roles in regulatory affairs with major pharmaceutical companies, including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck Serono, and Boehringer Ingelheim. Tachtatzis holds an MSc in HealthCare Management from the University of Athens and a Pharmacy Degree from the University of Patras.
