Louise O'Donnell

Principal Clinical Scientist at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde

Louise O'Donnell has a strong background in clinical science and has held several key roles in the NHS. Louise began their career in 2004 at NHS Tayside as a Grade A Clinical Scientist, where they worked until 2008. From there, they joined NHS Lothian as a Senior Clinical Scientist from 2008 to 2011. Their most recent position was at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, where they assumed the role of Principal Clinical Scientist and Prenatal Screening Coordinator from 2011 to 2016. Louise then transitioned to the role of Principal Clinical Scientist starting in January 2017, where they are currently employed.

Louise O'Donnell earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Strathclyde in 1999-2003. Louise then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Clinical Biochemistry with Molecular Biology from the University of Surrey in 2004-2006.
