Paul Allan has extensive experience in environmental management and waste operations, currently serving as the Operational Waste Manager at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde since April 2020. In this role, Paul collaborates with various departments to enhance service provision and represent NHS GG&C in national waste policy forums. Prior to this position, Paul held several roles at Scottish Leather Group Limited, including Effluent Plant Supervisor and Environmental Project Officer, where Paul led projects focused on improving environmental performance and energy management. Paul's career began as an Environmental Coordinator at Lightbody of Hamilton, and key educational achievements include a Master's Degree in Environmental Studies from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management & Planning from Glasgow Caledonian University.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is the UK’s largest provider of NHS health care services. It serves an immediate population of 1.2 million plus provides specialist regional services to more than half of Scotland’s population.
